Thoughts on a Halo 3 or CoD4 tourney?

If this is agreed to, I would be open to suggestions to gametypes, maps, etc. Although I'm currently leaning towards a 1v1 atmosphere to it.

a 1v1 Halo Tourney might work, not sure about how well a CoD one, but Im guessing it could be done. and Halos an amazingly popular game so it could draw in people easily. Nice idea Walrus

I've been in a few tourneys for each, so I know it could work, I want to see what people have to add to it. The blandness of just a normal TDM gets a bit lame unless you add a unique twist to it.

Nice bboy wanted to do a casual tourney today, I dunno what game yet, however this is a great idea. Halo 3's in my opinion kind of old school now, but it's still fun when it gets a bit competitive, are 1v1s possible and effective in the first gears?

I don't know for Gears, I never really got into it. But it could be possible, I suppose.

Halo 3 would be a pretty good tourny, just the only thing is I cant be a spectator and stream the matches. >.< But CoD4 could also work if people stopped playing MW2.

Well, I could try to bring over people from another forum of mine to do a CoD4 tourney, or I could go to a MGS forum and bring them here for a MGO tourney. Likewise for Halo 3.

That would be pretty good if you can do that I would appreciate it! I would look forward for a MGO tourny more tho!

I think halo3 tourney would be an easier bet

That's what I'm thinking, Shadow. If we were to do Halo, what gametype of slayer would you want? (SWAT, Standard, etc.)

I think we could go with MLG rules since that might be the most popular. But I have to say that Team Slayer is what I would like to see, what you guys think?
